The PS30 is a sliding fire door. The PS30 is able to be manufactured in sizes up to 4m high x 3m wide. The PS30 is activated by a counter weight system connected to either a fusible link or electromagnetic lock system.

The Best Doors PS30 sliding fire door set is used where a large opening in a fire separation (up to 10m2) is required to be closed off in the event of a fire and/or in daily use.

The slider may be concealed behind an appropriate cavity wall. Automatic opening and closing is not currently available for Sliding Fire Doors.

The PS30 is a sliding fire door set. The door leaf can be faced in plywood or steel sheet, and is capped with steel channel to 4 edges and hung from a sliding track system.

A counterweight system, released by a fusible link or electromagnetic hold open devices that are linked to a fire detection system, closes the door leaf in the event of a fire.

For higher fire ratings and larger sized doors refer to the PS240 slider. The PS30 is not available as a smoke control door set.

The thickness of the PS30 door leaf is 65mm with an approximate leaf weight of at least 31kg/m2

The PS30 is not available as a ‘pair’ door set. Refer to the PS240.

The maximum area per sliding door leaf is 10.5m2.

The PR30 fire door set is suitable for interior and exterior use and is available in timber or steel frames. This door set offers the largest range of leaf facings, meeting stiles and hardware options within our range of 30 minute fire protection doors.

Best Doors PR30 is a side hung door set. The door set configuration may be single leaf or pair, finished with a variety of facings and hung in a steel or timber frame.

If required, bottom seals can be selected from the Hardware list.

Meeting styles for doors installed into Speedwall are restricted to J-Section or Bullnose.

Timber jambs are not possible for doors installed into Speedwall.

Door sets with leaves larger than 2700 x 1200 are not intended for frequent use, we recommend they be typically either held open or closed with compliant hardware in normal operation.

Minimum width for a fire door leaf is governed by the need to fit a compliant closer. Typically, 400mm is the practical minimum.

The PD30 is a pivoted double action (double swing) fire door set that is hung in a steel frame. This door set offers a wide variety of leaf facings and glazing options.

The Best Doors PD30 double action steel framed door set is a 180° pivoting door. The door set configuration may be single leaf or pair, finished with a variety of facings and pivoted in a steel frame.

The PC30 fire door set is suitable for interior and exterior use and is available in timber or steel frames. This door set offers the largest range of leaf facings, meeting stiles and hardware options within our range of 30 minute fire protection doors.

The PA30 fire door set has a limited size range and is suitable for interior use only. It is a more economic and limited version of the PR30 fire door set. The PA30 is available in timber or steel frame with a variety of leaf facing and hardware options.

The construction of the PA30 has a solid core and requires no metal fixing plates or channel in the door leaf

The BP30 door set is available in timber or steel frame and is suitable for interior or exterior use.

The Best BP30 is a side hung fire door set. The door set configuration may be single leaf or pair, finished with a variety of facings and hung in a timber or steel frame. The solid nature of this door set lends itself to good acoustic performance and with the right acoustic seals it can be certified to STC 30 in addition to offering up to 30 minutes fire and smoke protection. 

The BP30 has approval for large vision panels and is available with a range of hardware options.

The thickness of the BP30 door leaf is 45mm with an approximate leaf weight of 27kg/m2
